I have played soccer for many years in school and originally got them for practical use. My first pair of Adidas Soccer Cleats lasted 7 years. These soccer shoes are really well made, the leather is very high quality plus they are cool, classic and functional. And I used to think that the soccer shoes were not quite important for soccer, until I was made to buy a pair of Adidas Soccer Shoes by my coach and I soon found it really useful. Without these Adidas Soccer Cleats, in fact I was easy to slip down and possibly broke my leg or foot. I do not know if those who like wearing the Adidas Soccer Cleats will wear these shoes not for soccer just for casual. I think it is just all right, because, it is really a good way for us to prevent skidding. If you are getting these soccer shoes for soccer I would say get the long tongue (more control over the ball), if you just want these for the look the short tongue is fine. I actually have the Samba K's, kangaroo leather version at the moment and I was really upset to see that they have discontinued them. I have read that the K's are incredibly durable and the leather just molds to your foot in a unique way. I think they look as good now as they did 5 years ago. These shoes do run narrow, so I usually get a half size larger and that works for me since I have wider feet. Overall you cannot go wrong with these good Adidas Soccer Cleats.
